Caroline - such a sweet and gentle person with the most lovely, engaging smile that made her sparkle. And a woman of humility who never bragged about herself. We need more Caroline Johnsons. Rest in peace with your Saviour who loves you very much.

I knew Caroline for 60 years and she was very dear to me. I was moved by the photograph of her in Dorset with the family dog Kloo taken about the time I first met her. We had many happy times together in Dorset, London, Washington DC and Hampshire. Her whole family is very special to me. My heart goes out to them, especially Nick and Charlotte.
